Cody and Football

Cody has finally been able to play football and he is loving it. Of course Danny is coaching and they are having so much fun. When we told Cody that he could play flag football he said that he did not want to but that he wanted to play tackle :) silly kid. When I told him that this was all there was he was game to play.
They have done really good and this weekend is their last game and then we are done with sports till the fall (I think).

Spring Break Update

A few weeks ago was spring break for Cody and since Danny was going to be gone in Mexico with students building a house I thought I would take the boys to Colorado to visit with family. We were able to see everyone who still lives there :) I drove through the mountains to see my parents and help my dad with some weeding then we just set them on fire. It was nice to see them again but the visit was short.

Donny came over for dinner one night, it was nice to see him too. He beat me in air hockey but oh well, we had fun.

We had lots of food and fun times. The boys even got to see a little snow too. They rode the horse and tracker and played with the dogs. Here is one for the boys to remember that we do still have the dogs they are just at grandmas.
We also went to the aquarium with grandma and grandpa Bob. While we were waiting for tickets the boys were trying to catch bubbles. I love the look in Cole's eyes of pure joy.

APRIL 16

I didn't get to posting this yesterday because I was to busy having fun with my big 5 year old now. That is right Cole turned 5 yesterday. He is such a simple boy. I had asked him what he wanted to dinner and he just wanted mac 'n cheese and it had to be the box kind. He also wanted a Kung Fu Panda cake with cookie dough ice cream and when we asked him what he wanted for gifts he said a tow truck. Yep a simple little tow truck at the store he saw the other day when Danny was buying some meds (that is another story).

So we did all that and a little more. Cole and I went to McDonalds for lunch because that is what he wanted, he played at the park with some friends, had his dinner and presents, most of what he said that night was "This is totally awesome!"

It was simple but he was happy and thankful for it all. What a boy!And he is also intense and loves life
