Apprentice Show Live

Last night Danny and I went with Jon and Becki to the live taping of the Apprentice Finale at the Hollywood Bowl. The trip it took to get to our seats was more exciting than the show it self.

The journey down the 5 was fine, we spent it catching up with each other. We found the parking structure really easy and decided to go get dinner at Panda Express since we had some time to spare (not a good idea). While we were eating Danny got directions to the Hollywood Bowl and off we went on the Metro system in Hollywood. The only thing was Danny was given the wrong directions. So we had to go the other way on the metro. While we were waiting for the train to go we realized that Danny didn't have the tickets. We thought he left them in the Panda bag that we threw away. So on our way to the Hollywood Bowl Danny jumped off where we started to look for it while Jon, Becki and I continued on. We waited for Danny and then headed up the many stairs to the street to find out that we needed to go back one stop. So we did and again went up many stairs to the street. Jon, Becki and Danny did just fine, we all felt a little sick running around with our stomachs full but I had a problem.

See I wore my boot because I wasn't sure if it was going to rain and they have about a 3 inch heel on them so running around town was not easy for me. And no I could not just take them off.

So we finally are at the right stop but have to still walk up hills to find this place, not to mention that the sidewalks were not smooth and even it was horrible patch work and my heels were not liking it.

Right before we had to journey up another steep hill full of horrible sidewalks Danny and Jon got a Taxi who really knew the way. So he got us there when the doors were supposed to be closing. When Danny went to enter they said oh you have to go to the end of that line. The line had about 200 people in it. Somehow a lady asked him how many tickets do you need and we got 4 box seats right in the middle. So no line to wait in we got in and were finally able to sit down. Boy were my feet happy.

So we made it in the show. It was nothing exciting. There were fireworks that was fun. It did start to rain at the end but it was really light.

But it was a great night out with friends that we miss.
Here are some pictures from my phone - we were not supposed to take cameras in...

Becki and I are waiting for Danny in the Metro - horrible lighting.

We were really this close and right in the center. It was nice.
